Helloooo everyone and welcome to the Chapter 7 release for When Stars Collide!

Now! What can you expect with this update?  

• Over 80,000 words of content - the vast majority of which is in the "LI scenarios." Less than 10k of the content is in the shared/skippable "common" path. The rest of it is LI exclusive stuff.
• It also comes with a very chonky flowchart.
• 6 unlockable CGs (one per LI)
• Some new encounters for Blue Eyes and Silver eyes (in the "no LI path")

The game until this point has been establishing the character relationships and hinting at the plot but this chapter has a lot of plot, a lot of action, and some major character reveals. As well as some less major but still significant character reveals and moments.  

Nothing too spicy happens yet but there are some smooches. Quite a few actually.  

This chapter brings the total word count for the main storyline to 326,000 words (a little over actually) and we are finally over the 50% mark. 
 

Development CHECK-IN

Mini Check in for the sixth episode, which includes Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 as a dual chapter episode:  

Development for the next episode is well under way. The expressions are about 80% complete for this episode.  

Chapter 8 is fully coded. Chapter 9 has the menus, and common route coded but the individual LI portions are incomplete. I should be able to finish up Chapter 9 expressions in the next week or so. Expressions are always the most time consuming part of each episode and fortunately those are mostly done.

There is a ton of art to be done for this episode including multiple new sprites and new outfit variations for existing sprites. Some of that art is complete, some is under way.
