Hello!

I just wanted to write up a quick development log to update everyone on the status of the next route. I finished Quill's rough draft mid-late June and am now in the process of revising it. My editing process takes a little while as it goes through multiple stages - and the routes are also long. Quill is currently at right around 115,000 words (this is "uncoded" - routes always lose 2-4% of their word count when they're coded) right now so it's a lot to go through.

I'm currently on Chapter 11 but will probably have to do another pass due to the amount of rewriting I did this time around. (Usually a faster drafting stage means a longer revising stage).

Basically my big focus has been writing over the last month though I've done a little bit of sprite research and work as well.

And that's all. I know this is a short update - generally, when I am in the writing and editing phase, the updates are pretty short since there isn't much to say other than "I have written words." I do hope to move into the coding and art phases of this route in a couple of weeks. But I don't want to rush myself because I want to ensure the writing in this route is as polished as it is in the others.
